The EzRaid™ DD4 FlexMount SATA RAID controller packs all the power and functionality of our larger SATA RAID 1 disk mirroring controllers into a compact design; about the size of a pack of playing cards. The FlexMount can literally fit anywhere inside your computer. It does not take up a slot or bay and is ideal where space is at a premium. Our protective, high-impact plastic shell protects the unit from other electrical components.The EzRaid™ DD4 FlexMount unit allows you to quickly and easily set up a (RAID 1) drive mirroring system on your computer using Serial ATA (SATA) drives.

Installing the FlexMount is a simple matter of mounting it inside the computer wherever there is space and then using the provided cables to connect your drives to the unit and the unit to your motherboard. Run the provided software to establish the mirror and you're done. No need for special drivers, no interrupt or software conflicts! The mirroring utility can be installed under Windows or run directly from the CD-ROM drive,making it operating system independent.

It includes a PCI slot bracket with serial port, status lights, and an alarm-reset button. (Bracket does not occupy a slot but simply uses the opening for external access.)
