DupliDisk Firmware Upgrade V. 3.39 for DD3 PCI, BayMount, FlexMount, RaidCase or MicroRaid products

This firmware supports an option to connect an additional IDE device such as CD ROM and Hard Drive (configured as a Slave) to the IDE cable connected to the Host side of the DupliDisk3.

Note: If you are upgrading from 3.37 firmware and older, you will no longer be able to connect additional devices (as Slave drives) to the Primary and Mirror channels of the DupliDisk3.


Installation Instructions
  1. If you have a DOS boot diskette, unzip dd3_339_202_up.zip onto your bootable diskette. Also, download and copy “Duplidisk DOS Utility” to your DOS boot diskette from http://arcoide.com/support_downloads.php
  2. If you do not have a DOS boot diskette, create a DOS boot diskette from the CD provided with the Duplidisk. If you do not have the CD, download "Duplidisk DOS Boot Disk Maker for Windows" from http://arcoide.com/support_downloads.php.   3. FLASH INSTRUCTIONS! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!                                                                                                                              This Duplidisk 3 firmware upgrade must be done by following the directions in the order detailed below:
    • Reboot the PC from the DOS diskette and select Duplidisk 2 and 3 support utility software.
    • In the Configure dropdown menu select FIRMWARE UPGRADE.
    • Select Dupli339.txt. After the upgrade is completed, remove the diskette and power cycle your computer.
    • The firmware upgrade is completed you can now resume normal operation.

Modifications Introduced Since the Last Release:
Add Master/Slave support. DD3 has now the ability to share the same Host IDE port with another IDE device such as CD ROM or H.D (configured as a Slave). As a result, it doesn't support Slave drives connected to the Primary and Mirror channels of the DD3.
