Compact Design Fits Just About Anywhere

The DD3 FlexMount packs all the power and functionality of our larger IDE RAID controllers into a compact design, about the size of a pack of playing cards. The FlexMount is an easy to install and use IDE RAID 1 drive mirroring controller that can literally fit anywhere inside your computer. It does not take up a slot or bay and is ideal where space is at a premium. Our protective, high-impact, plastic shell protects the unit from other electrical components.

Just place the Flex Mount anywhere within your computer, connect your IDE (Parallel ATA) drives with the provided cables and run our quick and easy mirroring utility. When you're done, you'll have hands-free RAID backup! Every time you save data to your drive, the FlexMount will automatically send the information to both drives, so you always have an exact (and bootable, where applicable) duplicate of your drive and all the information it contains. If one of the drives fails, an alarm will sound to let you know a drive needs to be replaced but the other drive will take over automatically. And your computer and your business will stay up and running!

The FlexMount unit requires no driver or IRQ. It sends data to both drives simultaneously so there's no lag time and no performance hit on your computer.

The DD3 FlexMount Includes a PCI slot bracket with serial port, status lights, and an alarm-reset button. (Bracket does not occupy a slot but simply uses the opening for external access.)
